翻訳と辞書　辞書検索 [ 開発暫定版 ] スポンサード リンク Hawkesyard Priory ： ウィキペディア英語版 Hawkesyard Priory Hawkesyard Priory was a Dominican priory in Armitage, Staffordshire, England, built between 1896 and 1914〔(English Heritage Website )〕 which included the Roman Catholic Priory Church of St Thomas. ==History== The church was built between 1896 and 1914 for the Dominican Order by the architect Edward Goldie. It consists of a hammer beam roof with eight bays of large perpendicular windows, with a facade of the Royal Chapel type, and a fan vaulted chapel on the south side. The Dominican Friars left the site in 1988 and the estate was sold in 1999 to a private buyer. The priory church is now used by all Diocesan Bishops of the Old Catholic Church in the United Kingdom as their Provincial Cathedral.
